Music Tech for ME 2007.05.15-#004

Welcome to episode #4 of Music Tech for ME. John Dunphy, Executive Director of TI:ME, is our special guest for this week’s episode. Who is TI:ME (The Technology Institute for Music Educators)? Allow me to quote the mission statement from the TI:ME website:

“… TI:ME is a non-profit corporation …. whose mission is to assist music educators in applying technology to improve teaching and learning in music”.

During this interview, John talks about the history, mission, and resources of TI:ME. I know you will enjoy this episode as John expresses his passion for music technology and music education.

Posting Episode #3… Again!

Music Tech for ME Episode #3

Hello everyone. I’m so sorry, but I have to post Episode #3 again. As you all know, I am very new at all of this and I’m making a few mistakes. I posted episode #3 yesterday but made an error in getting the show to post in the iTunes search. So thanks for your patience as I go through my learning stage. But on a brighter note, I also have another resource for you to check out. In episode #3, I talk about the basic components of the computer based DAW. One of which, is the Keyboard Midi Controller. Right after I attempted my post yesterday, I came across the 2007 February issue of “Keyboard Magazine”. The main feature for that issue was “Controller Keyboards” where they reviewed over 20 different Midi Keyboard controllers. It was a great article! Check out the link to Keyboard Magazine and try to get a back copy of that issue.

Have a blessed day!
