Music Tech for ME 2007.07.15-#008

Welcome to episode #8 of Music Tech for ME. “What is the best approach for learning and implementing a new form of technology?”. In this episode, we are going to offer some suggestions for answering this question. We will discuss 8 methods (or, suggestions) you could use for learning a new technology. If you are going to take the time to learn a music notation program, a DAW program, or maybe even a new hardware device, I hope that one or more of these methods will assist you in your learning process. If you have a suggestion or method that you would like to share, please post it or send me an email. Blessings!

During the episode, I talked about the importance of getting involved in an “On-Line” users group. I will start adding these links to the Resource page. If you know of any, please let me know and I will add them as well.

Music Tech for ME 2007.07.01-#007

Welcome to episode #7 of Music Tech for ME. “Hand Held Mobile Recorders” are excellent devices for any music educator. In this week’s show, I will provide a brief overview of several different “Hand Held Recording Devices”. These units are small, light weight, easy to use, and are capable of producing excellent recordings at a very good price. Near the end of the show, you can listen to an excerpt of a recording I did on the Korg MR-1. Are you already using one of these devices? If so, please drop me a line and let me know how you are using it. Blessings!
