Welcome to episode #20 of Music Tech for ME. Well the 2008 National TI:ME Conference was a very successful event. There were some excellent sessions presented by some of the best music educators/technologist in the country. For this week’s show, I’m going to chat about the event and about a couple of very special sessions that I attended. I was blown away by what is now available for guitarist when it comes to using a guitar as a midi controller. Marc Schonbrun did a terrific session using a Godin guitar as a midi controller with the assistance of the Axon AX-50 guitar to midi converter.
The other session was presented by our friend Joseph Pisano from MusTech.net. He did a superb job in his session titled “Syndicating your voice on the web; Blogging, RSS, Web 2.0 and Music Education”. He said he would be posting information from his session on his site in the very near future. It was also a real pleasure to finally meet Joe in person. I look forward to having Joe as a guest on a future episode of Music Tech for ME. Blessings!
