Hello! Thanks for this episode. I have been wanting to learn how to record some audio on my computer, but I really don’t know a whole lot. I have two questions, would you suggest this “icicle” to a beginner, that is, would it be easy for me to use even though I don’t know a whole lot about these things? Also, what microphone would you suggest I look for if I am looking to record things with a decent quality, but nothing too serious? Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

This is a very interesting product. I have been looking for a good recording device that I can hook into my computer via USB and this one sounds pretty low-maintenance. The sound quality was also quite good. I will definitely check it out.

    Keith,
Great post! I’ve been dabbling with audio editing software, especially when at home, I love to write music. I’ve been trying to find an audio interface to connect my microphone into my computer to record audio, but haven’t been able to find one that was convenient and could go from XLR to USB. All of the added features seem fantastic as well.

    Thanks!
